President stresses development of Iran-Nigeria ties

Tehran, Oct 11, IRNA – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stressed here Wednesday the importance of development of bilateral relations between Iran and Nigeria. He made the remarks in a meeting with the new Nigeria’s new Ambassador to Iran Alhaji Tukur Mani. “Independent states should strengthen their solidarity and have cooperation with each other in order to make a better world for the future generations; all the potentials of Iran and Nigeria should get activated in all fields and in particular in the field of economy, culture and tourism.” The new Nigerian envoy presenting his credentials to President Ahmadinejad, too, asked for the expansion of ties between the two countries for the benefit of the two nations.
