Production of Geothermal Equipment Put on Specialized Basis

Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- A geothermal equipment production base was built at the Ryongsong Machine Complex in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK. The base has a general assembly shop, test site, combined control room and shipment area. When visiting the complex in October Juche 100 (2011), leader Kim Jong Il appreciated the newly-manufactured geothermal equipment and set forth the task to build a base for producing geothermal equipment. The completion of the base would be conducive to equipping public buildings, hydroponic greenhouses and dwelling houses with air-conditioning system. -0-
