Public Security Chief receives British College of Emergency Planning representative

Manama, Sept. 24 (BNA): Public Security Chief, Chairman of the National Disaster Management Committee, Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan received Tom May Weather, Representative of the British College of Emergency Planning, in the presence of Major General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security. Lt-Gen. Al Hassan said that the meeting followed directives of the Minister of Interior, President of the Civil Defence Council, to raise the level of emergency preparedness at all levels. The two sides discussed national drills to ensure emergency management in its various stages, step up the readiness of all ministries and the various sectors, and enhance preparedness and planning, leading to response and recovery in an integrated manner.
