Public Security Chief receives French delegation

Manama, Sept. 24 (BNA): Public Security Chief Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan received a delegation representing the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources. Lt-Gen. Al Hassan commended joint cooperation with the French side to develop the National Ambulance Service and enhance response to medical emergencies in all circumstances and locations. He praised the directives of the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to implement strategic plans aimed to promote public safety, upgrade services and rapid response to medical emergencies for patients and injured people before entering all public hospitals. He stressed the importance of benefiting from the French expertise in the field of ambulance service and training of doctors and paramedics, and incorporating the latest technologies and equipment. The Ministry of the Interior signed an agreement with the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) in 2019 to provide services in the field of national ambulance and urgent medical assistance.
