Qatar Charity Signs Framework Cooperation Agreement with Government of Djibouti

Doha, September 05 (QNA) - Qatar Charity has signed a comprehensive framework cooperation agreement with the Government of the Republic of Djibouti represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, covering all areas of humanitarian and development work. In a speech during the signing the ceremony, HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Djibouti Mahmoud Ali Youssouf hailed the great and constructive role carried out by Qatar Charity in supporting the people of Djibouti, extending thanks to the Qatari community and Qatar Charity for its great support to enhance the development efforts in his country, and for its appreciated efforts and leading role in serving the Djiboutian people and promoting the development through the implementation of strategic projects that contribute to achieving development in Djibouti. He underlined that the Republic of Djibouti will provide all necessary facilities to Qatar Charity to support its important role in serving the people of Djibouti, expressing confidence that Qatar Charity plays a tangible role in providing the necessary support and carrying out its lofty mission in supporting community development to the fullest. For his part, Director of Qatar Charitys Office in Djibouti Mohammed Al Waie underlined that Qatar Charity continues its efforts in all humanitarian and development fields and is striving to provide its services to the people of Djibouti, within the framework of the Djiboutian governments strategy to combat poverty and promote development in all fields, in coordination with all governmental, local and international partners from the international organizations and UN agencies working in Djibouti in the humanitarian and development fields. He noted that the agreement reflects Qatar Charity's keenness on enhancing and strengthening cooperation with Djibouti in the humanitarian and development frameworks, extending his thanks to the government of Djibouti for the cooperation and the facilities it provides for the success of Qatar Charity's activities, programs and projects.
