Qatar's Education Ministry Opens Admission to Tumooh Program for New Academic Year

Doha, June 27 (QNA) - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the start of online registration for the "Tumooh" program for high school students in the class of 2021-2022, as well as for students who obtained high school certificate during the past three years, given that student's age is not more than 23 years for the 2022-2023 academic year. The first admission process continues through the ministry's online portal, from June until September, for the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The registration is opened for the second time from September until December 2022 for the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. In a statement, the education ministry said that the "Tumooh" program, which was launched years ago in cooperation with Qatar University, facilitates filling teaching positions in public schools with qualified national cadres, educationally and scientifically. The ministry supports students who join the program with monthly bonuses of up to QR10,000 during the study stage, pays tuition fees for students at the College of Education, and immediately recruits graduates of the program in public schools. The ministry reviewed the conditions for joining the program, which targets male and female Qataris, children of Qatari women, holders of Qatari documents, and students born in Qatar who graduated from high school for the 2021-2022 academic year.
