RCA, UNRWA sign agreement for building eights schools in Gaza

Abu Dhabi, Feb 24, 2013 (WAM) - RCA to build four schools in Palestine Abu Dhabi, 23 Feb. 2013 (WAM) -- The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) signed yesterday a cooperation agreement for building eight model schools in Gaza Strip at a total cost of Dh 58.76 million. RCA Secretary General Dr. Mohammed Al Falahi and UNRWA Deputy Commissioner Peter Ford signed the agreement which will see the RCA implementing the project in two phases.
