Representatives of Azerbaijani “Vatan” society meet head of “Zaman” newspaper

Baku, February 8 (AzerTAc). Chairman of Azerbaijani Vatan society in Denmark Safar Sadigi and chairperson of the society`s organizing committee Mehriban Aliyeva have met with the head of Zaman newspaper Kamil Subashi. Subashi pointed out that the newspaper is issued in many countries, Sadigi briefed the head of the newspaper on the activity and main goals of his society. Aliyeva spoke of Azerbaijani Diaspora`s work in protest of French parliament`s bill criminalizing the denial of so-called Armenian genocide. She underlined importance of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diasporas` joint activity. Sadigi invited head of Zaman newspaper to attend an event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide on February 25. In turn, Subashi thanked for invitation and promised to bring information about Khojaly genocide to readers.
