Rev. Hani Aziz commends royal invitation to His Holiness Pope Francis

Manama, Sept. 29 (BNA): National Evangelical Church Pastor and Head of Al-Bayareq Al-Baidha Society, Reverend Hani Aziz, has praised the invitation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to His Holiness Pope Francis to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate, in November, in Bahrain forum "East and West Dialogue for Humanitarian Coexistence", which will be held under the patronage of HM the King. Rev. Hani Aziz said he looks forward to the visit of His Holiness the Pope, describing him as a man of peace and love who is seeking to promote the spirit of tolerance among all people in the world. "He has a vision that he is striving hard to achieve and working hard to renounce violence and wars and help and support the weak," Rev. Hani Aziz noted. He pointed out that the invitation extended by HM the King to His Holiness the Pope is characterized by a spirit of peace and love, praising HM the King's endeavors to consolidate Bahrain's characteristics as a hub for tolerance and peaceful coexistence for all neighbouring countries. Rev. Hani Aziz added that the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to the Kingdom of Bahrain is a valuable opportunity to shed light on the extent of tolerance and coexistence between different religions and cultures in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to convey a positive image of it, as the Kingdom is an oasis of peace, security and safety for all who live on its land.
