Rural Youths Attain High Yields This Year

Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Thanks to the struggle of the young people who devote themselves to every field of co-op farms, more than 100 rural youth workteams and sub-workteams have been honored with the titles of high-yield workteam and sub-workteam in the DPRK this year. Members of a youth sub-workteam of the Township Cooperative Farm in Koksan County and the youth workteam No. 3 of Yoldusamchon Farm in Sukchon County carried out their plans for grain production by 191% and 188% respectively. Youth sub-workteams of the Wado Co-op Farm and the Kwansang Co-op Farm in Kwaksan County were honored with the title of high-yield sub-workteam. Members of a youth workteam of the Oguk Co-op Farm in Anak County had a bumper crop by organizing a dynamic shock brigade movement and applying advanced farming method as well as a scientific water control method. The labor successes achieved by rural youth workteams and sub-workteams across the country have become a pride of the patriotic youth in our era. -0-
