Sci-Tech Complex

Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- The Sci-Tech Complex on Ssuk Islet in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, is a base for disseminating latest science and technologies. In recent years, the complex has sent hundreds of thousands of sci-tech data to many units across the country and given answers to scientific problems raised by industrial establishments and farms through tele-education system and interlocution. Ri Pyong Sop, section chief of the complex, told KCNA: The working people are getting evermore enthusiastic in making innovations by dint of science and technology, amid the towering public interest in and demand for sci-tech information and knowledge resources. The latest sci-tech data sent by the complex help relevant units to promote the development of new products, home-production of raw and other materials, remodeling of production processes and designing and materialization of management strategies. -0-
