SCIENCE FUND AWARDED THE WINNERS OF CONTEST OF YOUNG SCIENTIST
Astana, June 4 (Khabar) - Four projects of young Kazakhstani scientists won in republican contest "Sharyktau". Every laureate received grant, 1 million tenge for further research.
Almas Shintimirov won in sphere "Technologies and Space Technologies", Askar Pirmatov - "Technologies for hydrocarbone and mining-metallurgical sectors", Aiymgul Akimbayeva won in sphere "Nanotechnologies and new materials" and Zhaksylyk Masalimov -"Biotechnologies". Science Fund was organized 1,5 years ago and it is part of "Samgau" scientific-technological holding. Its goal is financing of applied researches and experienced-constructor innovational works.
All these scientific elaborations must cause creating of new Kazakhstani technologies, goods and services. Science Fund is a mediator between science and production and helps young scientists to find investors.
Almas Shintimirov, person working for doctor's degree at LiverpoolUniversity, winner of "Bolashak" scholarship, winner of "Sharyktau" contest: - The victory of my application proved that I work in right direction of my scientific activity. And my researches that are carried out in Liverpool University, are demanded not only abroad, but also in Kazakhstan.
