Second Woman Detained In Connection With Killing Of Jong-Nam

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 (BERNAMA) -- A second woman has been arrested in connection with the killing of Kim Jong-nam, the estranged elder half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar said the woman arrested Thursday morning is named Siti Aishah and holds an Indonesian passport. He said Siti Aishah was born in Serang, Indonesia, on Feb 11, 1992. "The suspect was positively identified from the CCTV footage at the KL International Airport 2 and was alone at the time of arrest. "The investigation continues, action against suspects will be taken in accordance with the law," Khalid said in a statement. Jong-nam, who was using the name Kim Chol, was reported to be at klia2 at 8am on Monday to board a flight to Macau when a woman suddenly covered his face with a cloth laced with poison. He died on the way to hospital. Wednesday, police arrested a 29-year-old woman who held a Socialist Republic of Vietnam travel document bearing the name Doan Thi Huong at klia2. After her detention, Deputy IGP Noor Rashid Ibrahim said that more arrests were expected. Police are believed to be hunting for four men. -- BERNAMA
