Senior Advocate General participates in GCC Assistant Attorney Generals meeting

Manama, Sept. 26 (BNA): The 13th meeting of the GCC Assistant Attorney Generals convened today with the participation of Senior Advocate General, Chancellor Dr. Ahmed Al Hammadi, the Acting Assistant Attorney General, Advocate General Chancellor Amina Isa, the Judicial Inspection Senior Undersecretary, and Head of the implementation prosecution Mohammed Al Musallam. The meeting spotlighted a number of common topics, including mainly the draft guide to organising the public prosecution agencies and the public prosecution in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the rules for child protection during the investigation stage, the draft procedural controls guide for modern technology crimes, in addition to the Hamed Al-Othman Award for members of the Public Prosecutions in the GCC countries. The meeting also discussed holding interactive seminars, draft rules for immediate payment of proceeds of crimes of a financial nature and financial penalties, as well as presenting the experiences of public prosecutors in the GCC member states. The recommendations on the topics discussed during the meeting are scheduled to be submitted in the next meeting of the public prosecutors and attorney generals, which is slated to be held in October.
