Shura Council salutes Bahraini workers

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): The Shura Council has praised the great role played by Bahraini workers in the comprehensive development and progress currently witnessed by the kingdom thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. In a statement issued marking the International Workers' Day, observed worldwide on May 1, the Shura Council extended sincere congratulations to all Bahraini workers. While lauding the advanced level of Bahraini workers and their remarkable contributions to all development areas, the Shura Council reiterated its keenness on supporting labour rights through improving the legislative infrastructure that covers all aspects related to their works that regulate their relations with their employers, praising the initiatives of its permanent committees in this regard. The Shura Council also congratulated the staff of its Secretariat-General and valued highly their dedicated efforts.
