Speaker condoles with his UAE counterpart

Manama, Jan. 11 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla has expressed deepest condolences over the demise of a number of officials of the United Arab Emirates in the terrorist attack took place in Kandahar, Afghanistan, while they were carrying out a humanitarian mission. The Speaker stressed the Council of Representatives' support for all steps and measures the UAE to take to maintain its security, stability and safety of its people. He said the international concerted efforts needed to eliminate terrorism. He prayed to Almighty God to rest the souls of the victims in peace and inspire their families patience and fortitude, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. The Speaker send a cable of condolences to President of the Federal National Council (FNC) of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Amal Al-Qubaisi. He also sent a similar cable to Ambassador Abdulridha Al-Khori of the UAE to Bahrain.
