S'pore Wins Three Gold Awards At ASEAN ICT Award 2016 In Brunei

From Nashir Mansor BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov 26 (Bernama) -- Singapore won three gold awards at the ASEAN ICT Award 2016 held here Friday night. The awards won were under Public Sector, Digital Content and Research and Development categories respectively. The wining products were 'National Trade Respository' under the Public Sector, '3DHive.mobi' (Digital Content) and 'Cloud3D View' (Research and Development). Indonesia and Vietnam won a gold under the Private Sector category with the product, namely 'Taggle Health' and Startup Company category, with product 'Monkey Junior', respectively. The ASEAN ICT Award was held in conjunction with the 16th ASEAN Telecommunication and Information Technology Meeting (Telmin) here. Malaysia's Communications and Multimedia Minister Dr Mohd Salleh Said Keruak was one of the award presenters to the winner countries last night. Meanwhile, Brunei Darussalam's Information Minister Mustappa Sirat congratulated the finalists from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia upon reaching that stage of the competition. "This evening, we recognise your accomplishments and in so doing, we celebrate the promise you represent for even greater achievements in the days and years ahead," he said. -- BERNAMA
