Tehran To Soon Host World Confab On Women

Tehran, July 8, IRNA – The Iranian capital is to host the World Conference on Women and Islamic Awakening on Tuesday. The two-day conference will be attended by 200 female representatives from 80 world countries and 300 Iranian women. The event is to be held in the Milad Tower (Borj-e Milad), western Tehran. Secretary of the conference, Ms Seddiqeh Hejazi, told IRNA that the aim of this global gathering is finding ways to turn threats into opportunities. She added that paving the way for women's all-out activities in the World of Islam is among other objectives of the event./end
