Thailand observes World Water Day

BANGKOK, March 22 (TNA) - Thailand observes the United Nations World Water Day, which falls on every March 22, with the National Water Conservation Week organised annually. For this year, the Department of Water Resources, under the Thai Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, has organised “Water and Energy Exhibition” at Siam Paragon shopping centre in Bangkok from March 21-22. During the two-day event, knowledge on water resources conservation on the sustainable basis and His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's initiated projects on the development and management of water resources in the country are publicised in honour of the beloved and revered Thai monarch. Exhibitions on water conservation, water and energy and water consumption around the world are also part of the event. (TNA)
