Transportation Minister meets with British State Minister Lord Tariq Ahmad

Manama, Sept. 28 (BNA): Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Ka’abi, received British Minister of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Lord Tariq Ahmad. The Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications stressed deep and solid relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and their steady development at all levels. Both sides discussed ways of boosting cooperation in the telecommunications sector and ways of enhancing coordination between both countries regarding the initiatives of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The meeting was attended by Bahraini Ambassador to Germany Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), Philip Marnick, and the Economic Development Board Investment Development Director, Mesa’ab Abdullah.
