Turkey matches with Greece, Russia and Italy in European basketball league

ANKARA (A.A) - December 28, 2011 - Three Turkish basketball teams matched with Greek, Russian and Italian teams in the THY European Basketball League on Wednesday. The draw for Top 16 of the league was made in Barcelona, Spain. Accordingly, Anadolu Efes and Galatasaray Medical Park will play against Olympiacos of Greece and CSKA Moscow of Russia in Group E. Fenerbahce Ulker will take on Panathinaikos of Greece, Unics Kazan of Russia and EA7 Emporio Armani of Italy in Group G. The matches will begin on January 18. The two teams that rank the top two in their group will qualify for elimination round.  The teams will join play-offs between March 21 and April 5. The final four will take place in Istanbul.
