Turkey's first "World Beauty Queen" Keriman Halis passes away

ISTANBUL (A.A) - January 29, 2012 - Turkey's first "World Beauty Queen" Keriman Halis Ece Tamer passed away in Istanbul on Saturday. Tamer died of heart failure and she was 99 years old. Tamer became the "World Beauty Queen" on July 31, 1932. She will be laid to eternal rest in Istanbul on Monday.
