Turkmen president decorated with title of honorary doctorate by Fatih University

ISTANBUL (A.A) - March 1, 2012 - Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow was decorated with the title of honorary doctorate by Fatih University in Istanbul on Thursday. Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Berdimuhamedow said that there had been a great cooperation in several areas including science and education between Turkey and Turkmenistan. "We are two states with one nation," he said. Berdimuhamedow said that there had been significant transformation in science and education in Turkmenistan, stating that they attached a great importance to high-technology for next generations. Many Turkmen youths graduated from leading universities in Turkey and had professions, he said. Berdimuhamedow said that his country had great potential for investments in the areas of education and economy.
