UAE offers further support to Aden Police

ADEN, 23rd August, 2017 (WAM) -- The UAE today offered further support to the Aden Police by providing them with several vehicles, to strengthen their efforts to ensure peace and security around the city. This initiative is part of the UAE’s ongoing support, under the directives of the wise leadership, for the security sector in Aden and its numerous units and centres, to help normalise the living conditions in liberated Yemeni governorates and their communities. While receiving the second batch of 15 Camry cars and with the attendance of Major General Hadi Ali Obaid, Director of Criminal Investigation in Yemen, Shalal Shaea, Security Director of Aden, praised the UAE’s support for Yemen and its noble stance during their current crisis, to ease its effects on the entire country. He added that the UAE’s continuous support for the Yemeni security authorities has contributed greatly to improving security in the capital, Aden, and its adjacent governorates. The Aden Police received the first batch 15 Camry cars last week, which was offered by the UAE as part of its initiatives to strengthen the security and stability of the governorate, and the entire country in general. The UAE has offered hundreds of several types of vehicles to the Aden Police since the city’s liberation and has worked on rebuilding police centres in its various districts.
