HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the outgoing Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt

Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the outgoing Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, HE Yasser Mohammed Shaban, at Gudaibiya Palace, to mark the end of his tenure in the Kingdom. His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt, noting the commitment of both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of Egypt, His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in bolstering bilateral relations and cross-sector cooperation to benefit all. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the Ambassador’s efforts in advancing the strategic partnership to achieve joint aspirations. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad extended best wishes to HE Yasser in his future endeavours. During the meeting, regional and global developments and issues of common interest were discussed. For his part, Ambassador HE Yasser expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, noting HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to furthering Bahrain-Egypt relations. HE Yasser concluded by wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
