HRH The Deputy King meets with U.S. Senator and an accompanying delegation from the U.S. Congress

Manama, Oct. 11 (BNA): The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with U.S. Senator, Cory Booker, and a delegation comprising members of the United States Congress, at Riffa Palace.

His Royal Highness affirmed the strength of bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America.

The Deputy King highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening Bahrain-US relations at all levels.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted that bilateral visits and the signing of agreements and MoUs, such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), have further enhanced Bahrain-US relations to achieve mutual aspirations.

The Deputy King emphasised the two countries’ mutual commitment to further opportunities, cooperation, and strategic partnerships to benefit all.

His Royal Highness commended the US’s pivotal role, alongside allied countries, in safeguarding global security and promoting peace.

The Deputy King affirmed the Kingdom’s support for regional and global efforts to promote peace and stability.

During the meeting, regional and global developments, issues of common interest, and ways to further Bahrain-US cooperation were also discussed.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa,  and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani , also attended the meeting.
