Ulukbek Maripov meets with Azerbaijan’s PM Asadov

Bishkek, May 28, 2021. / Kabar / . Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov met with Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Hidayat oglu Asadov. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that the meeting took place within the framework of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Baku, Azerbaijan. During the meeting, the sides discussed a number of bilateral cooperation issues. "I am confident that the close allied ties between the peoples of the two countries will contribute to the establishment of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan in various spheres," Ulukbek Maripov said. In turn, Ali Hidayat oglu Asadov congratulated Maripov on his reappointment as Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers. He also stressed that the Azerbaijani side is interested in the soonest completion of construction of the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani Friendship Park and the Heydar Aliyev Comprehensive School in the southern part of Bishkek and has already sent the relevant draft agreement. The prime minister invited Ulukbek Maripov to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan. Following the meeting, the sides agreed to hold a meeting of the intergovernmental commission of the two countries.
