Oil and Environment Ministry participates in Russian Energy Week sixth session

Moscow, Oct. 12 (BNA):  Faihan Mohammed Al Faihani, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, and Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Moscow, participated in the sixth session of the International Forum (Russian Energy Week), held in Moscow, Russia.

The theme of this year's forum is (The New Reality of Global Energy: Building the Future).

The forum included multiple activities, including workshops, lectures, and dialogue sessions.

Senior officials from Russia, foreign and Arab countries, heads of international energy companies and organizations, and experts representing many Russian and international companies, participated in the forum.

They highlighted topics related to sustainable development, the development of the fuel and energy industry, and digital transformation in the oil sector.

The forum discussed the main challenges facing the energy sector such as development problems, and global energy development prospects programs.

The forum also discussed issues related to energy transition, climate protection, digital transformation of the energy industry, training of cadres, and the energy crisis in the world.
