“CHINGIS KHAAN” INT’L AIRPORT TO HAVE TRANSIT HALL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Some decisions were made at the cabinet meeting on Monday in conjunction with hosting of the 11th ASEM Summit to be held in July of 2016 in Ulaanbaatar. A financing was resolved for constructing a transit hall at the “Chingis Khaan” international airport, expanding and furnishing the guests’ hall. It is expected that Mongolia will receive 4,500-5,000 foreign officials during the ASEM Summit, and current hall of guests will become 2.3 times wider by creating the new transit hall. The upcoming in 2016 11th ASEM Summit will gather some 5,000 level delegates, including Presidents, Premiers and FMs from over 50 countries, and 39 of them will to come here by their own planes.
