Ahmadinejad, Gonsalves Discuss Bilateral Ties, Int'l Issues

Tehran, Sept 26, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Ralph Gonsalves discussed bilateral ties and international issues on Tuesday. According to the report of Presidential Office website on Tuesday, Ahmadinejad, who is in New York to attend the 67th UN General Assembly meeting, described existing relations between the two countries desirable and growing and said that relations between independent states is a support for them to confront with pressures of bullying powers. Ralph Gonsalves, by referring to international bullying powers' pressures against Saint Vincent to stop expanding relations with Iran, Cuba and Venezuela and the other independent states, said that independent countries should help each other to face common enemies' pressures by expanding relations./end
