Al-Bashir, Larijani Underline Expansion Of Relations

Khartoum, Jan 23, IRNA – Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, in a meeting here on Tuesday, underlined expansion of relations between Tehran and Khartoum as well as finding ways to develop bilateral cooperation. In a meeting between President al-Bashir and Larijani, the two sides discussed international and regional issues, including Palestine . The two sides also talked about expansion of politico-economic relations between Iran and Sudan. Larijani is in Khartoum, capital of Sudan, to attend the 8th meeting of Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union. He will depart Khartoum for Tehran on Wednesday./end
