Azerbaijani citizens in Uzbekistan cast ballots in referendum

Tashkent, September 26, AZERTAC Polling stations have opened at Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Tashkent as Azerbaijani citizens in Uzbekistan are voting in a referendum on amendments to the Constitution. Ambassador Huseyn Guliyev said that no frauds or irregularities have been registered, adding the voting is taking place in “a free and transparent” manner. 208 Azerbaijani citizens eligible to vote are registered at the Embassy. The voting wraps up at 19:00 local time.
