Azerbaijan`s defense minister meets with UN Assistant Secretary-General

Baku, March 30, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has met with UN Assistant Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions Alexander Zuev as part of his visit to the USA. During the meeting, the activities of the country within the UN, as well as the participation of Azerbaijani peacekeepers in various missions, including their contribution to the maintenance of international peace and security were highly appreciated. The sides also discussed prospects for the participation of Azerbaijani servicemen in peacekeeping operations.
