British top official due in Tehran tonight

Tehran, April 28, IRNA - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Euro-American Affairs Majid Takht-e Ravanchi said here on Monday that British Foreign Office Political Director Simon Gass is scheduled to arrive in Tehran tonight. Takht-e Ravanchi underlined that Gass is to hold talks with senior Iranian officials on issues of mutual interests and the international developments during his day-long stay. Gass is the first British political official traveling to Tehran after a long break in diplomatic relations between the two countries. end
