Centenarian Receives Birthday Spread in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ryu Myong Hui, a grandmother living in Tongnam-ri of Nyongbyon County in North Phyongan Province, on her 100th birthday. Born into a tenant farmer's family before national liberation, she had lived in bitter grief resulting from statelessness, suffering all sorts of humiliation and contempt. Only after national liberation, she could lead a happy and worthwhile life in the country where people became masters of everything.
