Chinese FM Calls For Start Of New Round Of Talks With Iran

Beijing, Sept 29, IRNA --- Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi called on Friday for a rapid start of new round of nuclear talks with Iran. Yang Jiechi made the remark in a meeting with foreign ministers of permanent member nations of the United Nations Security Council and German counterpart at the UN headquarter. Yang said all sides of the talks must do their utmost to come to a positive consensus in that regard. In his remarks, which were fully covered by Chinese media, he underlined that all sides must focus on a definite success of their talks. Chinese foreign minister reiterated that although we have had some positive results in our nuclear talks with Iran but we must still focus on diplomacy in that regard. "G5+1 has never left the diplomatic ways behind therefore we all need a full and comprehensive approach to find a way out of this problem," Yang added. He said China still continues to negotiate and consult with all sides to solve the problem diplomatically./end
