Defense Ministry: Azerbaijani soldier killed as a result of Armenian provocation

Baku, May 30, AZERTAC “The Armenian armed forces, having grossly violated ceasefire regime, resorted to another provocation. Azerbaijani army’s serviceman Akif Omarov was killed by a sniper shot by the enemy in the direction of Aghdam district at a time when the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are on a visit in Azerbaijan,” press service of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry said. The leadership of the Ministry of Defense expresses its deep condolences to the family and relatives of the martyr.
