ERC distributes food aid in Meifa'a, Yemen

SHABWA, 18th July, 2018 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, distributed relief aid to indigent communities in the Meifa'a Directorate of Yemen, as part of the UAE's aid efforts in the country. An ERC team distributed hundreds of food baskets, containing basic necessities to individuals and families in need, in a bid to alleviate their hardships and difficult economic conditions. Sultan Al Nuaimi, ERC representative in Shabwa, highlighted the ERC's objective to continue its humanitarian relief efforts and help improve the lives of Yemeni citizens. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the UAE government and people for their continued support.
