Foreign Minister meets Canadian Speaker

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ts.Munkh-Orgil paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada, G.Regan on September 8. The Mongolian FM highlighted that Canada is one of the leading countries in mining in the world by its expertise. Although, mining has remained an important part of the Mongolia-Canada relations, said the Minister, it is considerable to make efforts in activating cooperation in agriculture, healthcare and education. Mr Regan expressed willingness to share practices and achievements of agriculture, mining and other sectors with Mongolia. Both sides stated the confidences that the recently signed Intergovernmental agreement on promotion and protection of investments will make a contribution to the Mongolian people’s prosperity and the country’s growth.
