German MP: Nuclear deal will be prelude to Iran-Germany cooperation

Tehran, Dec 15, IRNA – Foreign policy spokesman of the German Social Democratic Party (SPD) Niles Annen said Sunday that Comprehensive Agreement on nuclear dispute with Iran would lead to enhanced economic cooperation between Iran and Germany. Speaking to reporters after a meeting in Tehran with head of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Expediency Council Ali-Akbar Velayati, Annen said that the nuclear talks cannot continue forever. Referring to longstanding relations between Iran and Germany, Annen said he hoped that reaching a nuclear deal with Tehran would help relations between the two countries return to the previous level. The German lawmaker said he believes that every thing is prepared for reaching an accord which would benefit interests of both Iran and Germany. He said that the German government supports the international campaign against terrorism like Daesh and operates in unison with the governments working for the international peace and security. /end
