Iran Hopes For Consensus With 5+1 On Framework Of Agreements

Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast Tuesday expressed hope that in their next round of talks which would start on Wednesday in Tehran, Iran and members of Group 5+1 would reach a consensus on the framework of agreements. “Iran has repeatedly announced its readiness for constructive talks. We hope the two sides would reach a quick consensus on the framework of agreements by recognizing Iran’s legitimate and full nuclear rights,” said the spokesman addressing his weekly press conference. Iran and members of the Group 5+1 (permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) will meet in the Iranian capital on January 16 “to discuss technical and legal issues”. He also hoped that the two sides could reach a “comprehensive agreements” in their tomorrow talks. Mehmanparast stressed that Tehran was also ready to remove any possible concern or ambiguity./end
