Tehran, Feb 12, IRNA – Iran and Japan are both advocating peace and security and cultural traditions, said senior presidential aide Mojtaba Samareh-Hashemi. In a meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Iran Kuji Haneda, he described bilateral ties as ancient and historical and said that they both have numerous capacities for promotion of bilateral ties. Stating that the Islamic Revolution belongs to all nations, he added that freedom, independence, dignity, peace and justice are among the main mottoes of the revolution. The Japanese envoy, for his part, lauded the Iranian nationˈs hospitality and said that he is set to help promote bilateral ties in all fields./end
