Iran New Envoy Submits His Credentials To Uzbek President

Tashkent, Oct 20, IRNA – Iran new Ambassador to Tashkent Ali Mardanifar submitted his credentials to Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov on Friday. In the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest. The new ambassador said that during his tenure he will do his best to develop and promote ties in all fields. Uzbek president, for his part, referred to Iran and Uzbekistan ancient-old historic and cultural commonalities, adding two countries' ties have been enhanced in the all arenas in the past 20 years./end
