Iran-Oman Have Good Potentials For Co-op

Tehran, Aug 30, IRNA – Iran and Oman have good potentials for expansion of cooperation, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said here on Wednesday. He made the remarks in a meeting with Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah. 'Iran-Oman relations is historical and cultural; Syria developments have no military solution and needs national reconciliation; the 16th NAM summit in Tehran is a good opportunity to resolute the Syrian crisis; Bahrain unrest have democratic solutions.' Omani official for his part called for expansion of bilateral relations between the two brother countries, noting that all regional powers should do their best to find peaceful solutions for unrest in Bahrain and Syria. The 16th NAM summit started in Tehran on Sunday and will last to August 31. At the start of the meeting, Iran assumed the rotating presidency of the movement from Egypt for three years./end
