Iran`s Majlis strongly supports Qods Force

TEHRAN,Nov.2 (MNA) – In a statement issued on Wednesday, 240 MPs expressed their strong support for the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (Sepah) especially the Qods Force. The statement was in response to U.S. officials’ claim that they recently thwarted a plot by two men linked to the Qods Force to assassinate the Saudi Arabian ambassador to Washington. In the statement, MPs said the Qods Force has proven its capability to safeguard the achievements of the Islamic Revolution. “We as signatories to the statement and as the representatives of the great Iranian nation… express our appreciation and strong support for Sepah forces particularly the Qods Force,” the statement stated. “We are fully aware that the global arrogance led by the United States is fearful of any independent force of any sovereign country, let alone Sepah which defends the Islamic Revolution,” the statement read.
