IRGC Commander: US Seeks To Involve Arabs In Its ME Dangerous Game

Tehran, Feb 8. IRNA -- Commander of the IRGC Naval Forces Brigadier General Ali Fadavi warned on Tuesday thatr America is trying to involve some Arabian countries in its dangerous game in Middle East. He gave the warning in a meeting with visiting Omani Navy Commander Admiral Abdollah bin Khamis bin Abdollah al-Raisi in Tehran. “America is trying to implement its satanic plots in the Middle East with the assistance and financial support of certain regional Arab rulers,“ Fadavi said. Stressing the need for cooperation and coordination of regional countries with regards to the critical political and security situation in the Middle East, he said Iran’s policy is based on interaction and cooperation with regional countries on the basis of mutual interest. The IRGC Navy commander said Iran has reached a level of defense power and capability to confront any sort of threats and aggression. Fadavi reiterated that regional countries must interact and cooperate within the frameworks of mutual interests and wih an aim of preventing foreigners' arrogant and aggressive policies. “Given the critical situation of the region, regional countries have no other alternative but to interact and cooperate with one another to establish durable peace and security in the region and nullify the enemies' plots,“ he said. The Omani Navy commander, referring to Iran-Oman good and brotherly relations, called for expansion of mutual cooperation. Al-Raisi said 'We believe that regional countries can protect their mutual interests in the light of cooperation and interaction.'/end
