Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan: We have not established our relationships on energy issues which are important for Europe and Italy

Baku, October 5, AZERTAC The relations between Azerbaijan and Italy are currently at a very high level, although we have not established our relationships on energy issues which are important for Europe and Italy. These relations between Azerbaijan and Italy are multifaceted. It is important to stress the relations in political sphere, Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Augusto Massari stated. The Ambassador emphasized the importance of official visits of President Sergio Mattarel to Azerbaijan last week, as well First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva's visit to Italy and high-level meetings. During the visits of high-level talks the sides exchanged views on cooperation in various fields, Augusto Massari told. The Ambassador informed that President of the Senate of Italy, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan, on October 17. During the three-day visit, the sides will hold a number of important meetings.
