Kim Jong Il Remembered by Nordic Political Parties and Organizations

Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- A joint remembrance meeting of Nordic progressive political parties and friendly organizations was held in Stockholm on Dec. 17, the fifth anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. On display on the front wall of the venue of the meeting was a picture of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il standing together. Present at the meeting were personages and members of political parties, organizations for the study of the Juche idea and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in Nordic countries such as Sweden, Finland and Denmark, the DPRK ambassador to Sweden and staff members of his embassy. Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association; Pekka Kotkasaari, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society; Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association; and other speakers highly praised Kim Jong Il for developing the immortal Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung and faithfully carrying forward his revolutionary cause. A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting. Then a statement titled "Distinguished exploits of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il" was released. -0-
