Kim Jong Il's Songun Leadership Feats Lauded in Switzerland

Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- The Swiss preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on Dec. 13 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army (KPA). The statement said that Kim Jong Il's assumption served as a historic landmark in accomplishing the cause of the Songun revolution and that the DPRK turned into a satellite-manufacturing and launching state and a nuclear weapons state under his guidance. It went on: Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, the gifted strategist and invincible and iron-willed commander, had strengthened the KPA into invincible revolutionary ranks that can defeat any formidable enemy at a single blow. Generalissimo Kim Jong Il led the People's Army to make a breakthrough in every sector of socialist construction. Thanks to him, socialism of the DPRK was firmly defended and the imperialists and reactionaries' moves against socialism came to failure. We extend eternal glory to him, brilliant commander of Mt.
