Kim Jong Un Inspects Pyongyang Terrapin Farm

Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, gave field guidance to the Pyongyang Terrapin Farm which was remodeled into an example and standard of the DPRK culture farms. Enjoying with broad smile on his face the panoramic view of the farm, Kim Jong Un said with pleasure that it has been radically changed into an another asset contributable to improving the people's living standard in a matter of one year. After watching the mosaic depicting leader Kim Jong Il newly erected in the compound of the farm, he went round the newly-built room for education in the revolutionary history. Going round the combined control room, indoor terrapin culture ground, hatchery, geothermal machine room, microbial culture ground and other parts of the farm, he learned in detail about its reconstruction and production. An integrated production system ensuring real-time adjustment of the temperature, content of oxygen and pH of water in the breeding grounds and feeding time and enabling the simulation of a variety of production and planning methods was established successfully to put the terrapin breeding on a high scientific and IT basis, he noted. Urging the farm to keep the production going at a high rate as it was modernized as intended by the Party, he advanced tasks facing it.
